BEATNIK CHAIR

A sound chair

While designing the Beatnik chair very close attention was given to the micro-space it generates. In order for its users to enjoy all kinds of digital media it was conceived to give as much visual as well as sound isolation whilst seated. The seat-rest is slightly wider as you would expect from this type of a chair, so you can climb in with both legs and sit side-ways. To construct it from panels was quite an early decision to fit it through narrow corridors and doors.

Material: Plywood shell upholstered in Camira and Kvadrat fabrics.

Dimensions: 127 x 158 x 66cm
